When Security Matters - GCS Is There.

When you think security - think GCS. We take our facilities security seriously. Each employee receives an access card custom-configured for multiple levels. Entrances are protected by anti-passback man traps with bullet resistant pass-through to identify delivery personnel and check identification and documentation of all cargo.

A dedicated employee entrance with man trap and turnstile allows one employee in or out at a time. Closed circuit television recorded in real time from strategically placed cameras cover our entire facility. All employees go through an extensive investigation that includes credit history, drug testing, criminal background and previous employment reference checks.

Our security standards are based on the rules and regulations jointly set forth by Visa International, MasterCard International and Discover.

Prospective applicants go through extensive pre-employment background screening including checks on their credit history, a drug test, a criminal background search, previous employment reference checks and the checks on their highest level of education completed.

The main entrance of Global Card Services is equipped with an anti-passback "man-trap" and a bullet resistant window with a pass-through for documents. We also have a dedicated employee entrance with "man-trap" capabilities and a turnstile which allows only one employee in or out at a time.

The GCS loading dock is fitted with a bullet-resistant pass through window in order to identify truck drivers and exchange documentation regarding the cargo before the dock door is opened. The loading dock is also equipped with an interlocking mechanism on the inner and outer doors. This mechanism prevents both doors from being open at the same time.

Global Card's facility is also equipped with a highly- sophisticated card access security system. This system is configured with multiple access levels to allow certain access cards to be configured individually. We also have many Closed-Circuit-Television cameras keeping a watchful eye on us 24/7. The cameras are located in strategic locations inside and outside of the facility and are video taped in real time.

Data Security

Global Card Services has a dedicated Secured File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) Server on site. This SFTP site is accessed through our T1 digital internet connection which is served by a top-tier nationwide internet service provider. We also support DES data encryption software and hardware for the ultimate in secure transmissions. Our internal network is also equipped with a high-end physical firewall... ensuring you the highest level of security.

Global Card Services offers our customers many options when sending data. Among those options are via the internet to our SFTP server, secure e-mail, floppy disk, Zip disk, CD-ROM, 1600 BPI and 6250 BPI Reel to Reel tapes, EBCDIC and ASCII formatted cartridges and 8mm tape. We employ this wide range of accepted formats to give our customers the ability to send data no matter what their capabilities are.

Even the smallest amount of data that we receive is processed and resides on a secure, dedicated network. Our secure system architecture is only accessible by specific authorized users and is protected by data encryption and passwords.
